where to get black lugs?

Hey all, i'm having my stock ss/sc rims painted this week and i need to know where i can get a set of stock size lugnuts either black or anodized black. having chrome lugs with gloss black rims is not going to look too pretty.

If you knew the thread pattern and size of the lugs, I'm sure you could find some on jegs.com or summitracing.com...

They look great. The only thing I don't like about them is they look like they're open ended...

yes they are open ended lugs, on my Cav the studs are black anyways and somewhat inset in the rims so they look good, i'm not sure how they'd look on the Cobalt rims... Those are the only anodized black ones I could find when I was looking for them awhile back

Gorilla Tuner Lug Nuts, the best I've found on the market next to McGuard Splinedrives. They don't strip out, rust, or get messed up! Summit Racing FTW!

i wouldn't put after market lug nuts on your stock wheels. the nuts are conical/tapered and the wheels are ballseat. that doesn't mix. i have a set of black rays engineering lug nuts if you're interested. they aren't cheap though.

The stock ss 18" are not ball seat style, they are tapered style. the stock lugs look like a pretty stadard 12x1.50 pitch tapered lug. the only ball style lugs i have seen have been mostly on trucks.

i got some black tuner lugs but i forgot where i purchased them at. However the paint is very thin and is already starting to come off. I would just stick with chrome ones unless you can find some that are powder coated then you may be good to go.

Ball seats are only on steel rims or some truck rims. Not on cars, and especially not on alloy car wheels.

The Gorilla Lug nuts are supposed to be the best. Strongest, least likely to twist if the the socket isn't on all the way, and I haven't seen a Gorilla lug finish crack, peel, or rust. Gorilla FTW!

I just looked mine up and i got black gorilla tuner lugs from summitracing and the black finish is just a very thin layer of paint which comes off without even trying. I only took my rims off twice and the tool that they provide to put them on and take them off scratched the paint right off. The rims are off for the winter right now so if you would like to see some pics i can get out the lugs and take some pics
