winter tire presure?

im just wondering what the presure should be on winter tires.

my tires only say max of 44psi and i have them at 34

should they be at 32 like the stock tires?

I'd say go lower on winter tires... lower pressure = more grip... If it snows... drop 'em to like 25...

I just run normal pressure on my Dunlop sport max M3's and they stick like glue....
maybe 25psi in actual snow...dunno, haven't had a need to try that and I made it through the 15" chicago storm

yea i think i might drop them down 34 is too much they don't stick or grip around corners... only if i could remember what i had them at last year

You don't want winter tires to be too wide. If they are they start plowing the snow as opposed to gripping it.

Yeah,when Speed used to show the WRC races,the cars in the one in Sweeden had SKINNY tires going faster in the snow than most of us could ever hope to do in perfect conditions.
