Xxr 527

Anyone rock the xxr 527 rims on there car? I'm gonna get redrilled hubs, so they say they'll fit 5x100 and 5x114.3 by what the site says. But i have no idea what offset means and all that crap so someone that does please tell me what the difference in +25 and +35 is? also which size tire should i rock ?

Looking at these:

XXR Wheels: 527 17x8.25 Chromium Black Rims

or

XXR Wheels: 527 17x8.25 Chromium Black Rims

stock offset is what +42

so +25 pushes the center of rim farther from the hub, the lower number helps fit those wider rims

also with that offset u will be looking at some poke or too much for your taste

concave is found in 10in and wider

u can get some sure but its not as noticeable

i would say measure your stock setup for clearance and compare to your future setup

the rim needs to be able to clear the strut, are u planning to do coilovers or just springs?

u can probably do a 235/40/17 if not on coils.

there will be some poke

Inner Clearance: 1.13mm more

Outer Position: extend by 32.88mm

Diameter difference: -1.22" (-4.99%)

i inputed the stock ss/sc wheels 18x7 +42 215/45/18 and 17x8.25 +25 235/40/17

so the wheels willl be pushed out 32.88mm from the hub or from the stock offset

+35 will sit better if u require a little more fitment of flush you can add

5mm spacers. I can imagine the rear will be flush

So 5mm spacers in the front to make it 30 offset will be flush. And rears 35 will be flush? Also im looking at running 235/45/17's. My car is automatic. So I cannot slam it without axle bind. But I have coils (Stance) I'll be good this way? I just wanna be 100% before purchase

you will need spacers if you wanna poke. like i said i run 245 40 18s they are flush but they are big tires. i had to roll and do a tiny pull out back to get the rears to clear
