The ZZP S3 may be too short. I wonder if shorter (6" fans) could be sourced? The 7" fits perfectly on the 7" tall heat exchangers.

I have mine on a manual constant power 12v switch. This way I can run just the fans at the track with the car off to cool the car down between passes. This with the IC pump running and ice on the blower should help. No icebox, but this takes much less effort.

Not sure what happens at highway speeds yet. I assume they become less efficient. The fans pull 3 amps each, so I will get a 10 amp inline fuse and run that just to be safe.

Here's a quote from a GT500 guy

"After I put my dual puller fan heat exchanger on my car I basically had to relearn how to handle the car on a road course. It was night and day different. Consistent power all of the time. I even had an off track excursion that day trying to get the feel for it.

For the drag racer consider a hot lap competition. After one pass you'll get smoked. Plenty of my customers are drag racers. Jon Lund completely endorses the product and says its one of the single best upgrades you can do for a GT500.

In closing, the dual puller fans are the equivalent of over 150 MPH of air crossing the core of the heat exchanger while you are sitting at a stop light. Feel free to PM me or email if you like. I would be happy to discuss further the engineering and data logs with you."

So far the fans don't seem to be doing as well as I had planned. I will double check the polarity of the motors and maybe flip the fan blade to optimize it's efficiency as puller fans.

There is one scenario I haven't tested yet, and that is the car being off, running the FMHE fans and the IC pump, to see if that drops temps. If that is successful, it could be beneficial for cooling the car down quicker between runs. I will update.

Here's a video of the fans in action.

the fans would have to be puller fans or they would actually hinder what your trying to do. Make sre theyre going in the right direction i dont see how this couldnt help if it was set up right

They are puller fans, but all I did was switch the wiring, not reverse the fan blades
