**** yea. thats how i did mine.

too much crank case pressure will cause this problem. too much oil pressure will cause this problem. i seriously doubt it's the turbo.

before you get your nuts in a tizzy again, how about you call bullseye power and ask them what the recommended oil pressure for your turbo is. then double check what your car is putting out for pressure. you may need a restrictor. check your god damn vacuum lines as well.

thats what i've been getting at. if oil is "shooting out" like you say, i would venture to say its a pressure problem. not the seals, although the seals now will not be as good as they were. i've had turbos leak a bit of oil out the compressor and had some seal issues. but i've never shot oil everywhere or smoked like grandma in the back room. take some pictures of your engine bay and we'll go from there
