My ZZP experience (Stainless DP)

Ordered the stainless downpipe with 2.5" catback flange, added in the gaskets too. I figured they made them as the orders came in so I was expecting to wait a couple weeks.. Ground shipping got it here 10:40AM the next day! Granted they are in MI and i'm in OH, but wow.

Packaging seemed adiquate, utilizing the box flaps cut and taped in such a way to keep the pipe from tumbling inside.

The pipe itself was a stunning piece of engineering! The welds were cleaner than I have ever seen. They managed to shoehorn in a very stout flexpipe that looks nearly three times longer than the stock one. The flanges are very thick with little to no warping. And if you know where to look you can see they went the extra mile in the construction... They don't cut corners by welding the flex straight to the flange; they weld in a piece of pipe then weld the pipe to the flange from the inside, leaving a nice smooth path for the exhaust gasses.

The 3-bolt collector gasket seemed stock or OE equivalent. The cat-back gasket was not the stock all metal design. It used the same type of materials as the collector, but had an extra doughnut of material added in to double up the thickness. The stud holes in the gasket were too wide and made it bow out when forced on, but when bolted down seemed fine and is sealing well.

The only issue I ran into is the proximity of neckdown to the 2.5" exit getting in the way of the socket wrench. I was able to snug the stud nuts up ok, but came close to rounding them off because of the socket angle. A long box wrench would make this a non-issue.

The Cat return option was pretty straight forward. Put the stock pipe back in the same box, seal it and slap the prepaid return label on (up to 15lbs). Then bring it to a local UPS store. My stock pipe had a heavier flex welded in, so I had to cut it off to make weight.

Everything else is stock besides a reverse flow muffler in place of the stocker. Right off the bat I noticed more available torque. It's less finicky with a more predictable curve. Lovin it sofar

As soon as I have the code from the cat-return and the cash I may haveto spring for one of their headers.
