true. if they're duplicating the m62 setup, then why won't aftermarket intakes work?

I think that note is there because on 2.4l and 2.2l cobalts the intake is normally on the left (if you pop the hood and face the car). For the m62 install you need the intake to be on the right side so you need a stock lsj intake or some aftermarket lsj intake (I don't know if aftermarket lsj intakes fit but I know the stock lsj does). (I like to use ()()()()())

BINGO.

Unlesss they developed a completely new intake manifold the LSJ ones would fit if you do the windshield reservoir mods. I think they are most definitely talking about how 2.2/2.4 intakes wont fit. My guess is the kit includes the necessary fasteners, a new ZZP intake and a new belt routing system similar to whats in the LSJ powered Ariel Atoms.

We shall see.

I've had the stock and my current K&N intake on my setup right now. They both fit, a little snug though

Anyone think there might be a discount like a small group buy on this when it comes out? taxes coming up and i think zzp can make good buys off of this kit.

when this comes out, knowing zzps rep, they will probably provide dyno too. just cross our fingers for a good price.

If they can make an SC kit for the 2.4 auto and be able to run a 2.7 or so still pulley hell i might be game for that! Especially if it can come in slightly under the stage 1 turbo kit.

Or a low 13 pass reliably on the auto trans for a good price in other words.

So you waited a whole 24 hours (and posted twice) and they didnt respond during a week when most businesses in the US are closed / reduce staff'd?

Thay must have fallen off the face of the Earth.

...JK, I'm just having fun.

X2. be a little more patient.

Also, there is already a thread about this kit.

Well their stage 1 turbo kit is 2k.
Id think the sc would come in under that... (didnt feel like bumping that thread)

210-220whp on a 2.4 sounds nice. I might want a bit more though (im an auto)

x2. I'm more leaning towards 220-240. Wishful thinking?

a 220whp dyno pass on the kit would be enough for me to plop down my income tax return!
