What is recomended for a stock 2.4SS exhaust?
I would like:
Model:1.5 inch high temp paint
Option 1:Magnaflow cat
Option 2:304 stainless downpipe
Option 3:2.5 inch downpipe, bolt in
Option 4:None selected
Option 5:Send me a prepaid return label

But im not sure if this will fit a stock 07 2.4SS exhaust system. Anybody clear this up for me? I mgiht be interested if i can bum some money off the parents.

That all sounds good, I think you should go for the 1.75", stainless if possible.

But it fits all Cobalt models.

 

yes i know it fits all cobalts, but d oyuo mean it will bolt right to my engine whether its 1.5 or 1.75"? And wil lit bolt right to my stock exhaust from the DP?

 

Yeah, it would bolt right up regardless.

 

So why would the 1.75" be better for a 2.4? It says that a 1.5" would maximize its power from a non-supercharged engine.

 

I was just going under the assumption that more flow of air is better, but I suppose there is a certain logic behind some sort of proportion.

 

if you have no intention of doing forced induction via a turbo or s/c then jus get the 1.5 primaries...otherwise get 1.75...yay...i jus bought the zzp stage kit too...i'll be staged by the end of the week
