They perform great, but u need to understand what they do.

They will allow u the ability to run a larger spark plug gap w/o spark blowout at high rpm. A larger gap provides a more efficient burn of the airfuel mix.

Don't expect to gain horsepower. They will give u the ability to make more power efficiently as u add more mods.

I ran a 0.036" gap on my 300whp LSJ. No spark blowout reving to 7750 rpm tested on a 38 degree day.

You should be good with a gap of 0.036-0.039 for you car.

looks like they upgraded the packaging from the cheezy pack job of before. Maybe another company is making them now for them.

they changed packaging for a lot of their products, they had pictures on their facebook page a while ago of fancy printed shipping boxes. i just guessed they got big enough they can now do cool stuff like that.

iirc it was only the first run of the 2.2/2.4/lnf coils, it wasnt the lsj coils that they recalled.

There have been no issues with the LSJ coil, so you have no worries.

Yup my LNF coils were recalled.
I believe the issue was that in some cases they were overheating.
I had misfire issues at the time, not sure if they were related to the coils but to be safe I switched back to my stockers.
ZZP really handled the recall beautifully: They gave me $50 in store credit and even offered to send me brand new stock coils if I didn't have mine anymore. When the new coils were available I didn't have to send in the old ones, but just send some pics to prove I destroyed them.
Awesome customer service!
My new coils came in a fancy box as well versus on a plastic sealed piece of cardboard before.

Well if anyone with the LSJ coils is going to have the most info on a failure it will be me I'm sure since I torture test them over 100 miles every day. It always seems like I get the problems haha. Going to work and home is like an autocross event lol.

Glad to hear that they are improving their products though!

I had them on my car for over a year (before I sold it)... and was one of the first to test them out for the LSJ when they came out back in 2015.

I put them through all sorts of testing. Including dyno runs.

What is a good plug gap for 25 psi?
