In the subject of a performance Cruze, judging by his response to the question it seems like a no, he didn't want to go into further detail because they won't be coming out with one.

I can honestly say that any new production cars are not really all that interesting. The worst part is even if they end up looking half way decent, the price tag is just so damn much. Hardly seems worth it anymore. I'd love to stay with a chevy car but they're just not making cars that I could ever be interested in that are relatively affordable.

"Chevrolet scored a cult classic with the Cobalt SS years ago. Its still sourced, tuned up and prodded around by a younger demographic the brand would certainly love to appeal to today. And, while most of those young guys and gals spend their millennial monies on a Focus ST, Chevy has nothing to offer. Maybe thats about to change."

GM doesn't look at the Cobalt SS as a success. They didn't sell many and didn't earn much profit, if at all.

It's obvious your a little slow so I'll spell this out for you, I simple posted the article because they make reference to the Cobalt - that's all, nothing more, did you not notice that I put quotes around that statement? Oh your a little slow, you probably didn't see the quotes did you?

YOU'RE calling me slow? I'm not an idiot.
I read your entire quote, then I read the article. They wrote a lot of commentary. To call the Cobalt SS a cult classic is a huge stretch, but I'll let it slide. Even if it were a cult classic, GM couldn't care less. They have a very short history of making decisions that don't project to deeply affect their bottom line immediately. Cobalt SS didn't do that, and they wouldn't predict a Cruze performance to do that either. After Government Motors happened, it's even less likely.
There, I spelled it out for you. Sheesh.

Yeah that's just how us balt owners think, but most people don't even know the potential of the SS so just would rather go with something new with more electronics

Ford is the only manufacture making fast fwd cars, GM is trying to play the same game as everyone else now and trying k make even more boring and bland car year after year
