Lmfao thats hilarious.

In the subject of a performance Cruze, judging by his response to the question it seems like a no, he didn't want to go into further detail because they won't be coming out with one.

Then you would projectile vomit if you rent a new Impala. They gave me one in SLC. You think a 2.5L in a full size sedan is gutless at sea level, try 8000 feet! I barely made it to the ski resort.

I can honestly say that any new production cars are not really all that interesting. The worst part is even if they end up looking half way decent, the price tag is just so damn much. Hardly seems worth it anymore. I'd love to stay with a chevy car but they're just not making cars that I could ever be interested in that are relatively affordable.

"Chevrolet scored a cult classic with the Cobalt SS years ago. It’s still sourced, tuned up and prodded around by a younger demographic the brand would certainly love to appeal to today. And, while most of those young guys and gals spend their millennial monies on a Focus ST, Chevy has nothing to offer. Maybe that’s about to change."

You have provided nothing new here. This is literally commentary on the other article. I stand by my doughnut wager.

GM doesn't look at the Cobalt SS as a success. They didn't sell many and didn't earn much profit, if at all.

It's obvious your a little slow so I'll spell this out for you, I simple posted the article because they make reference to the Cobalt - that's all, nothing more, did you not notice that I put quotes around that statement? Oh your a little slow, you probably didn't see the quotes did you?

YOU'RE calling me slow? I'm not an idiot.

I read your entire quote, then I read the article. They wrote a lot of commentary. To call the Cobalt SS a cult classic is a huge stretch, but I'll let it slide. Even if it were a cult classic, GM couldn't care less. They have a very short history of making decisions that don't project to deeply affect their bottom line immediately. Cobalt SS didn't do that, and they wouldn't predict a Cruze performance to do that either. After Government Motors happened, it's even less likely.

There, I spelled it out for you. Sheesh.

Next time, if you insult my intelligence, the least you can do is spell it right. I'm not even going to touch the irony that you said you were going to spell it out for me

If GM would just add the 2.0T option to it, they could compete with Ford. I see a lot of ST's on the road.

I totally agree, I hate that nose, I think it ruins the car. It looks ok on the fusion but the focus is too narrow to pull it off.

I'd rather take the money that would be used as a down payment on this or the focus ST and just buy a used LSJ or LNF.

Yeah that's just how us balt owners think, but most people don't even know the potential of the SS so just would rather go with something new with more electronics

Nice car, I see what Gm is doing. Ten bucks says they will bring out an ss version of that. First they copy the look of the st then they murder the power

Not sure why that's desirable....and I'm not sure I'd call the ST that fast.

It's also not true. VW Golf, Civic Si are as fast or faster.
