Even though it's probably a good idea to do it, they won't. GM has a disconnect with reality. They tend to think logically. For example, I remember a specific quote by Wagoner about hybrids. He was asked if GM would do it, and he said no because it doesn't make sense that a person would buy a car that costs more than you'd ever make up the cost in gas savings for. He's exactly right. Financially, it has never made sense to buy a Prius or other hybrid. However, look what happened.
