RI member looking for SMG input

I've got a 07 SS 2.4 4 Door and am wondering a couple things..... how much would it run me for a tune? I've got intake and a muffler on now, going to get a header before i do so.... and after that................ Im wondering if you've installed cams on any 2.4's there.. Im looking into doing cams/tune in spring... just wondering what id be lookin at getting into. Also.. how about other headwork? Thanks!

hate to say it man, but Fred(SMG) still doesn't post here all that much. you would be better off calling him up and talking to him.

also, it might be worth while to invest in some stock ss/sc injectors for your 2.4 before you tune it. From what i hear, the stock 2.4 injectors max out pretty quick. you can usually find a set of used ones here in the classifieds for around $50 shipped.

Fred's number is 774 573 0279

If your going to the meet on Sunday then I will give you one of his cards.

For the credits for your car to use hp tuners it's 200 off the hit. The I believe 65 an hour. I think he would be all set in a few hours at the most. I know he has tuned a turbo 2.4 so he should easily and quickly able to get yours running perfect. If you want to tune on a dyno its going to be more but you probably won't need it if you have a wideband. If you don't have one I recommend you get one.

He rarely reads these posts so give him a call and LEAVE A MESSAGE!! He probably won't answer.

The shop number is 5082444225 9-6 weekdays or 9-1 sat. again leave a message!

No, probably next weekend. But without the big turbo. It's only going to have the super 60 on it.

Yeah it's getting there. The big turbo simply doesn't fit. We modified the manifold once already but it still didn't fit.

With a lot more effort we could modify the manifold again and see where that gets us but it's not really worth it seeing as that's not even the turbo I really want. I'm going to be running a t3 super 60 which I don't think will break 325 but Fred under the impression that it will get well over that. If it gets near 350 I probably wont upgrade it for a while. 350 is probably perfect for what I want for the car.

As of now I am still trying to trade or sell the 60-1 if you guys know anyone interested.
