Paint Chippin On Window/lock Plastic

I Know We All Are Dealing W/ The Chipping Paint On The Plastic Peice Holding The Window And Lock Buttons. What Can I Do To Stop Or Fix This, A How To Would Be Cool Or Even Some Basic Ideas?

I eliminated that problem by removing all of it and painting them flat black with a product made by SEM called Flat Black Trim.

Yeah mine got bad like 8 months ago, so I got new ones at the dealership. Then i put on some clear coat nail polish. Havent had a problem with them since.
