Just bought a Cobalt SS

Hello guys, I just bough a red 2005 Cobalt SS, and I noticed that the boost gauge wasn't working, any Idea what's wrong, how to check it or fix it?

Thanks, Carlos

Congrats on the purchase.
Welcome to the site.

I'm not sure about your booooost gauge, but I'm sure somebody would know more than me.

We want to see some pictures of the car too!!!

Pull the guage out and check to see if it is plugged in. Did it light up at night? Maybe the previous owner cut the plug for an aftermarket guage and just stuck the factoy guage in when trading it in.

It did turn on at night, and I checked for a vacum line on the engine last nite but couldn't really see anything, I'll try pulling it out to see if it's plugged in, but where can i check on the engine if it's on a vacum line?

How do I pull it out? is there a trick to it or do I just pull it out?

it is an electronic boost gauge...therefore there is no vacuum line.
and welcome!

pull out the a-pillar. there is one 7mm bolt holding the pillar in. pop out the pillar and make sure that all four wires are connected in the back of the gauge. thats a good place to start

i see that the tag says untitled vehicle which leads me to believe that the vehicle was never sold... maybe used to show or something? i believe thats why it has such low miles.

Thanks for the comments, the car was $14.9 and the reason I got that license plate is cause when i got it it was already too late and the lady that gives out the plates had left, the previous owner close to the city I live in. I'm from the Rio Grande Valley to whoever asked

How much is a gauge? and where can i get one? thanks

Unless the dealer sold it "As-Is" they should fix the problem for you. If not you should be able to get a boost gauge at the autoparts store.
