Does any company make oil catch cans for the Cobalt SS S/C?

for those of you who don't know an oil catch can is basically a little tube that collects excess oil so that it isn't burned up in your engine. Helps the car to last longer down the road, you can make them yourselves out of Home Depot parts for like 20 bucks but just wanted to know if any company got on this yet.

I don't own a Cobalt. Just curious.

I know there's a number of companies that make pretty bad ass looking metal ones, most of the Home Depot/Ebay ones look like test tubes filled with gunk.

No it's not NEEDED. But just a little something extra to keep your engine tip-top. You'd be surprised if you saw how much some of those fill up. All I've seen cost no more than 100 bucks and I'd prefer to not burn that excess oil through my engine if I had a car like the SS

Whats not true? It was a ????? not a statement. Iv never used one befor and so I know vary little about them. Going to look in to them some more.

yea, ModernPerformance sells the Greddy one. However, some vacuum hose and a beer bottle will the exactly the same thing. But that's the DSM mentality I guess...

 

The old LD9 had an "oil-air seperator" built on the side of the engine block...which basicaly is a catch can...does the ecotec have one too? I haven't had one appart yet to see. Becuase some people would add them to the LD9 but it was pointless...no HP gain at all...some people just like to put poloshed things under the hood.

If the ecotec doesn't have one...its not a bad idea for those running more boost or with higher miles.

If you do a google search your question can be better answered than I can do right now since I'm lazy/tired. Most car companies don't have them on their cars, it's not necessary but helps long term. All it does it keep the engine clean and free of buring oil.

Chevy didn't put slotted rotors on your car either...but they would help
