Looking to paint my wheels, but leary. ( How are yours holding up?)

Just like the thread title says, I'm looking to paint my wheels. I want to do something like the picture below, but with harsh winters where they use tons of road salt, I'm really scared it won't hold up. Any suggestions as to a kind of paint that won't wear off and look like crap after a month? I'd really rather take the powder coat route, but I'm having trouble getting a powdercoater that doesn't say " well we can only do all black, we can't leave that part uncoated" whatever. I'm open to suggestions.

i know duplicolor makes a spray paint made specifically for wheels, i assume it would hold up at least a little better than just any normal paint

Thats the paint I just used on my wheels. They look great and I hear they hold up well as well!

Now the question is, are you running these in the winter? I would never think of running my 18s in the winter.. lol

because the pirellis are absolute slicks as soon as they touch snow. Thats why our 18s in the winter don't work.
I also painted my wheels, using a Dupont GM paint code match, and Duplicolour clearcoat, but our Sask gravel/paved roads beat up my paint a bit. But i touched them up and put some 3M protective vinyl on them, and it holds up great! It was just a hassle making a template for my wheels (07 lipped gunmetal).

My colormatched wheels. The same paint thats on the body of the car was used on the wheels. As far as clearcoat i am uncertain. The wheels have been on the car for 4 months, holding up nicely and have seen snow and salt.

Dude, use paint stripper on the spokes, leave the lip alone, then cover the lip and paint the spokes... not hard.
