Damn it...My Bad

Hey. While must of you know may know I have the cobalt SS front bumper. While n e who I think I might of cut the wheel to much and hit the snowbank ( hard as ice) on the end of my driveway. Now today i looked at it i noticed i scraped the paint above and below the right hand fog lamp. no dents or scratches tho. It just looks like it got flaked off and now i can see the black bumper underneath it and not my pretty victory red . Does anybody know how much it will cost apporximent to repaint the front bumper? Its really noticable. ill try to take pics tom. i feel like such an idiot.

ryan

Edit: Ya you can even see my old paint that fell off in the snowbank too.

The rear valance I sent you that was painted Victory red costed me about $175 to paint it. Depending on the front they might charge more.. I'd say no more then $250 but nothing lower then $200

BTW, they will wet sand the whole bumper, paint it and put clear coat on. That's why it costs so much. Doubt they will do a patch job. Would look like crap.

Most places will paint only what needs it and then prep and clear the entire part.

When GM was F'in me around when my paint chipped off my front bumper cover I looked into how much it would cost me to paint it and pay for it myself.

It was around $300

I think the front on an SS looks as good as anything the aftermarket has. It's better made, from what I've seen. Definitley a contender when it comes time for that upgrade.

yep well today i get called into work so i had to be their for 5am on the base for snow removal. n e who im doing all right their in my car going a steady 25-35mph all the way their. took me 45 mins to get to the rode where i turn onto and a mile a way when my phone rings. soi answere it and my friend ran out of gas so i had to go down this major road way where they started plowing but not the whole thing? so like in the intersections they had snow piled like 1.5-2 feet high. well n e who i wasnt slowing down cuz then i would get stuck since their was about 3-5 inches of snow. and what do i see when i get back but my whole front bumper paint is chipping off now from hitting all the little snow buildups. i am pretty pissed now. that is all haha. sorry to waste ur time readig this
