I think painting them black looks nice... Any other color is ugly IMO

Normally you paint calipers to show them off, but why show off your drums?

I would have to see it. But if you are talking about painting your drums red then I wouldn't. This is just my personal opinion on what i would do to my red ls.

flat or gloss black or not at all--calipers are one thing (a bit played out in my book, but still look decent) -- but drums, no way. I voted rice. But what's important is if you like it. It's your car, if you like it--go for it.

It's funny that a lot of people forget this and try to impress online kids. Make sure you keep that in mind with your final decision.

Rather then just the black that is mentioned above I'd say color matched to the car is a much better choice. It DOES look good and it protects te drums from rusting, but other colors besides a matched look just doesn't look right.

do what you want to do...don't try to impress people on here or whatnot. If you think it looks good all that matters. I myself wouldn't go anything too bright, but do what ya feel.

I had though about one time painting the whole thing silver except for an 8" black square where a back caliper would be.... kinda give it the look at speed

I have since decided against it. and will be painting black to make them disappear

Its soooo effin ricey when people paint their drums to color match the car. Yuck. Unless you paint them black to kinda hide them, then please don't paint them.
