2K5SS/SC?'s Project Integra Part 3: The new stuff!

Well some of you have been following my project Integra build, so I figured it was time to give some spy shots and a small update.

Here are the old thread links if this is new to you:

The new EVO III 16G turbo has been installed with all new oil feed/return lines and a new oil pan to ensure we 100% leak free fun. The AEM UEGO I picked up off here has been installed so I no longer have to play musical cars with my wideband. The old clutch has been replaced with a nice new Competition Clutch Stage 4 sprung 6-puck as well. A full energy suspension bushing kit has been ordered, and new tie rods should be ordered here real soon. Finally the new shoes have arrived to replace the stock bronze painted LS meshies and worn out rubber. The socketed ECU for my Hondata S300 I bought should be on it's way to replace the old SAFC hack for a complete tuning solution. I also replaced the distributor not too long ago since it died right before the old turbo and clutch called it quits, so I also replaced the shitty plug wires with some nice MSD ones while I was at it. My buddy scored a center console for it since the car didn't come with one, and the door and front fender have been replaced due to the minor deer running into the side of the car incident from awhile back. Last but not least, there are 2 nice gunmetal Lenso wheels with MH drag slicks mounted on them ready for the track!

As soon as I return from this deployment, the car will be fully tuned and body worked. Then after my buddy Chris and I do all that, we are going to paint the car ourselves. Don't worry though he is highly experienced in this field since he used to do work for American LeFrance doing the body work and painting on their fire trucks! It won't be the first or second time we have worked together to paint a car. His old Supercharged MR2 came out awesome and so did the CRX Si we did!

Now onto the spy pics! Excuse the crappy pics, but this is what my buddy sent me since I'm deployed right now.

I think the old clutch had seen better days!

One of the new Drag DR16's in bronze with 215/45/16 Falken Azenis RT-615's mounted!

One of the rims just sitting in front of the car to get an idea of what it's going to look like. Not to mention that hotness of a black primered door!

Oh you know I will! "Keep em' clean and make em' fast" is my motto. Let's just say that 300+whp and trq will be had with the new setup on it's stock block!

If by Cornacopia you mean spare parts lying around my buddies garages I bought, and a few average off the shelf parts every know and then, then yes you are right. I think half the car is DSM and the other half is Honda!

I know the snail is a DSM... because I ran one on mine! Then moved to the 20G then decided to go bat **** crazy and use a T-61 (causing serious engine malfucktions... ie BLEW UP) rebuilt it made 570 to the tire!

Well once I get out there, I'll come down and take a gander at this Warlock!

It's not just the turbo though! I have an SRT-4 stock intercooler on it and 560cc EVO injectors as well. I was a cheap part scrounging **** I tell you! Definitely come and check out the "Warlock" when you are down this way. I'm aiming for mid 7's in the 1/8th since there aren't too many 1/4's around.

It is a frankenstein of parts for sure, but you're the one who called it "Warlock." I usually just call it "the teggy" or "black betty", but warlock is something I can look into as a possibilty.

Bump for those that love Honda products!

Just got confirmation from my buddy back at home that the Integra is pulling crazy hard at only 12psi and he's not even running it out all the way since the clutch is still being broken in! He also said we need an oil restrictor as well, so it's on order before anymore driving is done to prevent the new turbo from getting damaged.

I can wait to see what 15-17psi will bring! WOOT! I need to go home soon!

I knew you would find it eventually. She is going to look sleek soon enough so I can hope to keep it clean like your Si! More updates soon to follow as soon as my ECU shows up and the clutch is broke in all the way.

Sucks you live in sc. We could do a photoshoot if you were closer. Still cannot believe how luck you got with this project.

Yeah, I'm still far off from photoshoot status! What you can't see in the picture is the different colored fender, green primered hood, and the black/gray primered rear hatch! Slowly but surely though she will get there. I'm not sure what I want to do for paint yet. I'm thinking either the factory black, factory STI black since it has that goldish metallic in it, or just do some color of Hot Rod Flatz.
