what is the difference between the single xenon hid and the bi xenon hid?

Bi-xenon have a hi/low setting (dim & bight) like your standard headlights, single xenon do not.

no. If you don't care about losing your high beam function, you can buy a single xenon kit. Or you could get aftermarket projector headlights, put HID's in them, and have a seperate dedicated high beam.
