What can we beat?

I know a regular V6 mustang cause I took one down on my way to work. But no one else down here will race me. So if anyone can answer this question please post. And please do not move this I wanna keep it in the 2.2 L section.

I seriously think these cars are way underrated. Cause I dont have a problem going neck and neck against cars that I shouldnt have a chance against. I know it is about 60% driver skill in a straight drag but come on these people cant possibly suck that bad.

I can beat most V6 grand ams, all 4 banger grand ams, most other stock cobalts, cavaliers and sunfires.

Cars I have raced and actually beaten are:

1. V6 3100 Grand Am (auto)
2. 4Cyl Grand Am (auto)
3. 4Cyl Ion (auto)
4. V6 Mustang (auto)
5. 4Cyl Cavalier (auto)
6. 4Cyl Civic (5 spd)
7. 4 Cyl Golf (5 spd)
8. Grand Prix 3400 and 3800 non S/C

Thats all I can think of right now

Do you guys think a 2.2 Cobalt could take a 3.8 Impala?

The Impala would almost certainly take the Cobalt off the line cause of the torque but the Cobalt would catch up in second when the Impalas weight comes into play. It would beat it in the 1/4 over all.

I will tell ya what..... I raced an SS/SC the other day just messin' figured I would get smoked... I was surprised at how well it did... But I DO know how to drive also.... which plays a big role! But I would say it is WAY underrated... If I can keep up with and damn near beat a 00 Civic Si with the 160 hp motor... it is more than 145!

I can't say with absolute certainty...too lazy to look it up lol, but I think the Audi 1.8T puts out 180hp at the crank. The new 2.0T puts out 200hp.

I was messing with my bud on the way home from work . He has a 99 audi a4 . When the light turned green he had me by about a fender but he was not pulling away on me .
We only went about1/8 mile and had to back out .
His a4 is a manual with an intak and a loud ass muffler .
My 2.2 is still completely stock auto .

i have beat:
-civic
-old ass accord
-cobalt SS/SC in a short race (mostly driver fuckup)
-dakota v6
-dakota 4.7L
-celica
-v6 mustang
-5.0L mustang (dont ask me how)

do you think we stand a chance against dakota rt's? theres so many nerds that drive those in my area, i heard that they arent very quick cause the tires spin so much.
