no i have more hp than 135 and a mustang GT stock only has 229 and weighs 3800 lbs
im runing about 165 and weigh about 2200lbs so that how i beat the GT's. but even then i still didnt think i would take them but i did. but like i said they were stockers. cuz i raced my friends GT and it had a cai and full exhaust and he beat me by like 2 or 3 feet but still for a 2.2L thats freakin fanaminal.

 

2200? What'd you do, chop off the trunk?

Plus Mustangs aren't that fat...it's more like 3000 for the balt to 3300 for the stang stock, but nonetheless, if you got the kill, congratz.

My 2.2 has a cai, tb spacer, ceramic header, cat back exhaust, a 75 shot of N20, weighs 350 lbs less than your car.....and on an 1/8 mile track, when I beat a Mustang gt, it's at most by .35 seconds. And lots of times they beat me if the guy can drive a stick right. I don't believe you. But that's all I'm saying about it.

 

no not entireerly cuz my door says 1900 and 2200 empty and full tanks i have no power windows no power locks nothing in the trunk nothing extra i got the bottom of the line base model and for exactly that reason. i dont need all that flashy **** if it gets hot i only need to roll down one window not two i can lock my own doors ya lazy **** things ya dont need. and im gett rid of my a/c pulley compressor and all that crap so thats another 50 or so lbs. and yes GT' are 3600 or 3800 i cant completely remember but i thinks it 3800 but if not i know its no less than 3600 cuz it a fat car with a fat motor the 4.6 aint exactly 150 lbs and plus all that trans and drive shaft and crap[ cuz of on the acount that its RWD and the big rear diff. and beafier tires. it hold more oil and gas. now im just being informative not a smart ass so dont get pissed off nothing aganst you

Im not taklin trash or anything, but it seems like a lot of you guys are racing really weak cars. Cavs and sunfires and civics dont stand a chance likewise. Unless of course they are boosted. That **** doesnt get us street cred. We need to be racing stangs, trans ams, impalas, monte carlos, stangs, evos, STI's, and stangs. Show them V8s we can beat em while using less gas...lol.

 

I have a list a mile long of cars I have beaten....but no one would believe them cause I drive a Cavalier and everyone thinks they're slow, so I don't even bother.

thats cause its like the only thing that we have the law thrown at us for. theres more penalty for street racing than there is for using your car to transport coke.

there is some places, but they are a little harder to find. look for hondas, they almost always want to go, i even raced a ridgeline yesterday. highway is another good one, but make sure you have a radar detector, and go past abbotsford.

Technically no, it was a 2000.....but it had a motor swap from a 2003 civic, and a 2003 turbo, so it had 2003 power plant. Guess I should've specified a little better.

 

No 2.2 is beating a s4 or a mustang gt post 99 unless you have f/i or a big shot of nos.

thats all i can think of, most of my races are good humored fun in low traffic areas with friends though.

on another note, i did keep up with a c6 playing cat and mouse on a 1 lane road. got beside the guy at the next lights and he gave me a nod, i wanted to slap him for not being able to drive a car that should have easily left my car in the dust. maybe he was just being nice ?????
