Just wondering what the difference is between the two. I know the sounds are different and the touring is quieter but why. Also is there a HP difference between the two?

 

no hp differnce the touring exhuast sounds the best imo.

 

I've had both , i had them sitting on the garage floor side by side and on the out side they are identical. I had the performance and then bought the touring . The touring to me sounds better by far , but its all personal opinion. The touring has a deeper tone , and is not nearly as loud as the performance when crusing around under 4k rpm's .

If you want to make noise with the touring you can , but the kicker for me is you can make it quiet enough with your right foot to take the kids on a trip, and they can sleep with ease .
