Magnaflow Exhaust Part Number

I don't have any experience with sport compact exhaust systems (yet). But the Magnaflow brand is worth mentioning either way.

I received the 2009 catalog at my work yesterday and while I don't have pricing yet, the part number for the '08-09 Cobalt SS Turbo system is 16875. I'll let everyone know when they become available to me.

I also have part numbers on HHRs, Cobalt SCs, Ion Redlines, and many others. Let me know if you want any info.

One of the first things I looked at actually. The SC number is different (16619).

checked it out, only 2.5" piping, I'd suggested passing it up and looking for a 3" exhaust

Did you check the Magnaflow website? The TC exhaust doesn't have specs yet as per the company. Regardless, I agree... 3" is the way to fly.

Yes - going with 2.5" isnt going to do much more than what you got from the factory. You'd be better of just welding on a free flowing axle back and save your pennies.

3" is the ticket.

I wonder what the muffler part number is. Found a place that will sells a mandrel 3" tubing and a magnaflow cat-back. I was just thinking of finding what muffler the unit you guys are talking about(if it is different than the one in the link) buy it off ebay(same stile 3") with a resonator CHEAP use the 3" mandrel kit from the company in the link and save a **** load of money. I don't care that its not stainless because this stuff will last plenty long were I am.

I just noticed that this is a semi old thread, do you guys have anymore info on this?

Still no info from Magnaflow. I think they just used the part number as a place holder until they come up with an actual product.
