Painting my stockers....(question)

I want to paint my stock rims , I have an LT1 with the revolution package so I have the weird 5 spoke 4lug's I have never seen them on any other cobalt unless it's a special edition (cobalts with stripes) fortunately mine is stripeless(thank god). but anyways I want to paint my rims and not sure what kind of paint to use , also what grit of sandpaper should I use to prep/>? Ive only painted my dash trim so far so gimme a break lol....

Yes sand first (only the areas you intend to paint), 800 grit should do, unless you have damaged areas

As long as you use a good sandable primer first, and a good clear afterwards you can use pretty much any paint you want.

Just make sure you sand after the primer (100 grit or higher) to get a nice clean surface before laying down paint. Take your time, do as many layers as needed, and clear the **** out of them

Works like a charm. There are pics of mine in my gallery. I used Dodge's Brilliant black clearcoat form my color,
