Question 42 vs 60 lb injectors

i have 2.8 pulley and all supporting modds i cant get dyno tuned and i kno nothing about hpt i live about 4.5 hrs away from any place that can tune it so im getting a can tune from zzp
my question i have the 60 lb injectors just not in the car right now will zzp give me more hp with the 60's or will it be about the same

you will have more potential with the 60lb injectors, some say it might be a bit safer. if you have them, id use them and have zzp to tune the pcm for them.

it will be the exact same. injector size has no bearing on fuel economy or horsepower, as it is negated by larger injectors using smaller pulse widths to yield the same fuel flow. The benefit to larger injectors is when your really making horsepower, you can inject more fuel at a faster rate IF YOU NEED IT! so larger injectors wont make more power unless there is a reason to flow more fuel (such as a turbo) Of course, you should never be close to maxing out your injectors....thats how engines go boom

i would reccomend the 60's. They wont hurt at all, and will allow you to make more horsepower later down the road (if yiou want) without another injector swap.

DO NOT GET A CANNED TUNE FROM ZZP!!!! Trust me, i thought the same cause i was in the same position as you, i went with the canned tuned from zzp, my car was horrible. not only that but i get terrible gas mileage, and i had the backwards fuel gauge readout. They also screwed up my case relearn and the security features on my car. (Im not to familiar with those, but ask vince at trifecta) SO what you need to do is get a tune from Vince at Trifecta performance! Its not to expensive at all, and unlinke ZZP where they just tune a pcm for your mods, and not specifically tune for your car, this is an exact tune to your car. Its the best thing i have ever done, and have great power increases with no issues with the car and improved gas mileage.
