How to paint rims?

I noticed that a few people in the group have black rims.

My question is what is the proper way to paint stock Chevy Cobalt SS rims?

Go to Walmart

buy 400 grit sand paper

3-4 cans of primer
3-4 cans of black paint
3-4 cans of clear

happy painting!

well I work for Toyota at their Vehicle rim plant...so I know what I'm talking about...lol

if you want it to last and done the proper way, since that's what you asked for, then powdercoating and painting them is the only way to go.

if you simply want painted rims for cheaper, that guaranteed, won't last as long...then simply paint them.

nothing against the last method, but I'm the type of person who has to have it done right the first time...lol
