Called GM Parts

I called in to the GM parts at two different dealer ships and gave the part number and both said that they have heard nothing about stage 1 and 2 for our cars. Just curious but why is GM releasing these kits to Canada first and has anyone else runn into that problem of the dealer ships not even finding the part number in their system? (In U.S)

They must not have the current software catalogue update then. I spoke to the GM representative on saturday who was at the Toronto auto show and he took care of it quickly. Monday morning we had the pricing info, etc. But yeah it depends on the dealer as well, some parts guys don't know much and aren't into performance and the like

The parts guys are the same everywhere. The ***** that I have to deal with laughed at me when I told him where I got the part #s & proceeded to tell him about the guys in Canada. I have also noticed that the dealerships don't know squat about our cars in general & they don't seem to care. If it's not a vette they don't give a f#@*!

thats unfortunate, the parts guy I deal with gave me the prices. Anytime I call he is more than happy to see if they are available. I think the guys there are more eager for the parts to come in and see what I can make than I am...

How much more is going to be added for labor? And are the kits under warranty?
