You would need the bigger injectors or you would lean out fast which aint good for your pistons.

not 100% on this but i think you can go 3.1 without new injectors, iiunno if u have to go to 42lbs...not sure...not recommend...but hey what would i know...im driving on a 2.8 pulley with stock injectors cuz the company didnt send me a harness or clips so i cant hook my 60lb's up.

ok, so the 3.1 is the stage 1 pulley right ?
What will i gain ? extra power at start i guess ? Because injectors are only good at higher speed..
Do i have to change the hub as well . or only the pulley should do ?
Thanks

Yeah you would have to change the hub but honestly to get the full hp amount with that pully you should run 42lb injectors if i am not mistaking the stage 2 pully is a 3.09

stage 2 is 3.06, before you put a pulley on, you should upgrade to 42lb injectors and get custom tuned.

damn lol
theres no way i can add up extra power without costing lots $$ :P

Oh and by the way, i was mistaken in my post.. i meant stage 1 pulley which is 2.9 i think ..
Lets try again, if i change my stock one with the 2.9" do i still have to change hub and injectors ?
I want a little more power, but i dont wanna spend hundred and hundred of dollars on that.. not that im poor, but i have other objective !

Yes,

If you change your pully at all you should change your injectors. The small pully the more air and your stock injectors can not push the fuel needed for the smaller pully. Here is what most people suggest.

42lb injectors pully size 2.8+ with a good tune
any pully smaller then 2.8 you should get 60lb injectors.
You can use 60lb injectors wtih 3.1 to a 2.6 some do 2.5 but you will need a lot of cooling mods and a good tune. Stage 2 kit is gunna be the cheapest for you. Unless someone can tune you for free or real cheap.

I wouldnt recommend this at all u would be gaining min to no gains at all. You be maxing out ur injectors and plus you would probably have to get a stage 2 belt.

exactly no tune and no injectors no play. its going to cost you for some hp.

You can do air box mod for more sound or you can get solid mounts that always helps.

Well solid tranny mounts at TTR cost about 60-70 bucks and the motor mount costs about 200 and some. But if you get them together i think you get a deal you should PM Aaron at TTR he can hook you up. The mounts are used to stop wheel hop and some what feels like more hp to the ground. But you have to deal with vibes in the car. And i am sure you can find a used CAI on here look through the classifieds i think there are a couple for sale.

I wouldn't recommend 42's with a 2.8. I am running a 2.9 on 42's and they are pretty much maxed out. Can you say 91% IDC's @ 7000 and some change. Don't want to have your injectors go static.

To the OP, you could change anything you want on your car just remember that things might not last very long. When ever you change pulleys/injectors, things of that nature it is a must to get tuned for those modifications.

The only reason why i said 2.8 with 42s is cause some people do run them and run them fine. I would not do it myself.

Not trying to be an ass or anything but my advise to you would to do some research on this site and see how certain modifications work out for others. There is a lot of material that you could educate yourself with on here.

You will need a diff hub when you change pulleys.

BTW.. "(0-60 - 2.209)" Your isn't 0-60 is 2.2 thats how long it takes you to go 60'.

You don't necessarily need a hub to change pulleys. Some pulleys are press ons just like the stock ones. The reason why most people buy hubs is so that they can swap out pulleys fast and easily.

We both know considering he want's a Stage 2 pulley that he isn't taking about another press on.That I can remember I have only seen diff size press on's at one site and if I recall the smallest I saw was ~3.1. It's been awhile since I saw it so...
