General Altimax Arctic Tire Opinions?!

I've got these tires (General Altimax Arctic) coming to my house for the winter mounted on some 16" Steelies. I wasn't sure if anyone had any experience with these tires, and how you like them. Anything would be helpful, thanks!

Yes, I know. My car failed at life with the tires it has right now in the snow. I've heard good things about the tires so far, but I want to know what Cobalt drivers think.

I have them on my car and no complaints yet. They work in snow and ice. Like what do you want to know? I have been driving on them for 3 weeks.

I got them in 205-50-17. I wasn't too impressed with them at first... then it got colder and my opinion changed.
Those tires work especially well on slippery surfaces IMO, but also quite well in most conditions. Combined with TCS & ESC, it is not a painful experience in a snowstorm or an icestorm.
I give them an honest 7.5/10.
They do the job plenty in my winter conditions (Quebec is cold and we get alot of snow), a very good bang for the $ if you ask me. You can get them studded too.
