Bash show Classification

ok i want to clear up a few details about the show that seem to have been abit confused.

I realize this is the first bash for some of you, and possibly the first show period for some others so ill try to break this down best i can ok

If you are planning to enter your car in the show, and are sending in your pre registration keep in mind there are 3 places in 3 catagories, and i need to know which YOU would consider your car to be!!, also keep in mind your car will be permanently classed when you come thru the gate so dont worry about it if it turns out to be different, having a close estimate ahead of time helps me know which classes to make and get awards for.
here are the classes and places.

street class - 1st place,2nd place,3rd place
mild class- 1st,2nd,3rd
custom class- 1,2,3

this classification helps keep you in competition with other cars that are on your level of modification and makes sure all is fair.

for instance...if all you have done to your car is new rims,a couple bolt on engine parts and maybe an aftermarket stereo fear not !! this would put you in STREET CLASS !! and all cars in street class (at this show) will be very limited on what they can have on their car to be in street...i will define this further in a bit.

plz keep in mind that one of the best ways to help your self win in street (or any class) class is to keep things CLEAN !!

now lets brake down the classes a bit so youll know roughly what class you should be in.

street class - i am very strict on street class. many people dont have ALOT of mods on their car and may even prefer it that way. there is nothing wrong with this, thats why street class exists. In order to be considered street at this show you can be stock - minor mods...things like bolt on engine mods, aftermarket rims, stereos, bolt or snap on interior mods are all acceptable, however having a body modification or custom outside paint will raise you to the next class, the ONLY body mod i will accept in street is a "lip kit" since many lip kits have been made available from dealers and are direct install parts.

mild class - Mild class can have a bit more than street but be careful of your combinations. things acceptable in MILD are body kits, hoods, lambo doors, fiberglassed stereo or truck set ups, air ride, racing seats, custom paint work,etc...theses are all things
you will find in mild class. Now, if you have a combination of all those things you will most likey be put into CUSTOM CLASS...those of you that have custom class worthy cars know who you are, since you have probably put enough money into your car to pay off your house...

here is the catch, there is ONE award for best of show..and only a CUSTOM CLASS entry is eligible to get best of show..if you would like to compete in custom class i will allow it voluntarily. in other words u can move UP a class, but not down.
EXAMPLE - when you get classed at the show, and it is determined that your car is MILD you will not be allowed to compete in street for any reason..however if you think your car could compete in the next class UP, custom , then you will be allowed to compete against custom cars.
hope this wasnt too confusing for anyone
just wanted to make sure everything is straight before you get to the show, and plz remember to tell me what CLASS you would like to be in when you preregister.
PLz keep in mind that if we dont receive preregistrations for a perticular class that class
will be eliminated ..that is one reason is important to PRE register if you plan on showing!!
thank you !
.

.
any questions??

you will be OFFICIALY classed AT the show. he needs everyone idea before the show to know what classes he needs or dont need. so just to give an idea on classes.

i would say you would prolly be in mild, but possiably street. it also depends on the amount of bolt ons i think to an extent, scott correct me. he trys to make street as fair as posiabble esp since most balts just have performance upgrades and not much "show" stuff.

well the good news is.. i received enough registrations to make EVERY class i intended to..which is better than last year so congrats guys !
Deltas WILL have a custom, mild and street class with several awards in each..the only class that seems to be small is custom.
and yes,you will be OFFICIALLY classed AT the show when you pull in. trust me it is all organized and well planned. you will be directed where to go and what to do from the moment you pull up to the gate till you park your car. and once your parked all you need is to clean it up,set up your display if you have one, then have fun meet everyone, see the cars, check out the track. and after your judged you will be free to race if you want0
