need help. i want to tune my cobalt

is hp tuners the only software to tune the cobalt? also i noticed on there site the basic version is $500
anyone know how easy it is? like do i do a pull then it records everything? do i need to get a wideband?

no.. its not just hitting some buttons or anything...

theres AFRs you need to tune.. fuel trims to adjust, spark advance to mess with...

no.. its nothing like that..

um..

you have to learn what those do, plus about 50 other tables, tune them according to your logs.

This includes afr, tuning for injectors, fueling per rpm, alot of ****... not just something you can do over night dude..

yea man im not saying you cant do it.. its just not something your gonna pick up over night, and you gotta make sure its done right.. one mis calc, by even the slightest, could prove disastrous.

Na, Josh at OTT. Me and Ecotecon18s play around with stuff, but the major stuff is done by Josh.

A dyno tune is much more beneficial. I know there are some tuners around you tho that will tune you.

I believe the guy with the turbo SS/formerly SC tunes up in that area and supposed to be top notch. 05g85ss or w/e his name is lol. Can't think at 1 in the morning.
