I recommend against bypassing that sensor, because it is used to reference tables within your tune. It is a ghetto mod, and not worth any performance. These superchargers are not set up to resrtict boost unless the temps get too hot, or the CAT overheats etc. Otherwise it will let you boost it all the way to begin with.

There are 2. To get the most boost available from your sc. Put the actuator down as much as possible. 2 bolts allow you to adjust this.

ok guys well I have a question. I run the boost bypass mod ALL THE TIME!! Because if I don't I will only build about 16lbs then by 7K be at about 13lbs. With the mod I see 17+ all through the rpms at WOT. Why? If someone can tell me why I lose boost and how to fix it, I will stop running the mod. Thanks guys

Might have broken part of the bypass control.

It's brand new, I have a new motor in and they had to special order the valve. Took forever to come in. Unless GM broke it!

your tune may still have IAT boost limits built into it. in which case your car is pulling boost because the air is getting too hot. that can be disabled.

i've got a question.. after 5500 im running 0 boost.. but from 0 to 5500 i have 17psi and then after 5500 0 psi

i've gotten this since i put my ZZP 3" header and DP and its been doing it since then

and when i get into boost since i got all my mods the supercharger kinda jumps on and off very quickly after 5500rpm

Denny told me to try this mod to see if its not the internal wastegate in the SC to be sure that might just be the problem or it might be something in the tune turned on and my tuner cant see it..

Thanks

PS Mods are listed in my Car Domain under r0k0tr

Thanks Again

^Right. If your car is not holding boost until redline...then something is wrong. Boost should still, even slowly, climb until you shift...its just the nature of the supercharger...I don't really see the need for this mod...

With my 2.9" it jumps to 13psi under full throttle, around 3,00o rpms, then tops off around 16+ near redline...
