Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

anyone having trouble getting door panels replaced lately>?

anyone having trouble getting door panels replaced lately>?

Car went to the dealer for the leather problem dealer is real good about replacing what is wrong, but he is telling me the door panels are on restriction now and cant be replaced, anyone else hear this? Is there now a TSB or bullitin on the door panels, going to pick it up in a bit and he said he would explain further.....

Since day one, noone was to replace the entire door panel for the peeling around the switch bezel. There is a newer bulletin for power window and locks bezels being avaliable in April.

yep so he said, only problem I have is the door leather is actually bubbled up because of it, so a new door switch surround might not fix it all...we will see, like he told me he will make sure I am happy with the end result.

Also he gave me a printout that GM is acknowleged about P0171 and they are not just blaming it on the CAI's anymore and it is a problem on 2.2L and 2.0L, I have a copy of the bullitin also....

I see, you need a panel for another reason. They should be able to put a spat case out for it, may take time to come in, though. I also saw a bulletin for P0171 under investigation, to fix problems on stock vehicles. This may help out for though's with CAI that are setting CELs.
