Exclamation Why is it so fast?

Ok i have an 06 supercharged cobalt. Completely stock nothing done to it at all. Maybe an air freshner lol. I used to take it to the track every now and then. I ran 14.8's consistantly. Even with wheel spin. And my buddy has an 05 with an exhaust and a cold air. I beat him by like 4 cars everytime. I'm keeping up with stage 2 cobalts and stage-2 srt-4's. Can anyone tell me why this is. It cant be just the driver can it.

It can be the driver, and the fact that all cars have different HP levels. I have seen stock SS/SCs make the power of a stage 2 SS/SC so it's possible. 14.8s are pretty typical of stock SS/SC though.

Recreational drugs.

No, but honestly your friend probably can't drive. I've seen stock SS/SCs run 14.5's and lower.

I think its you;re buddy's driving skills.

Oh and I think you're the first person to ever describe a stock SS as "so fast" haha. I believe when I first got mine I made a thread describing that it was slower than i expected haha

yeah, your friends definitely suck at driving hahah. i am one of those cars that made the same power as stage2's(although never races any) and went 14.2@100 stock....14.8(while respectable) isn't that amazing.

i'ld like to see some videos here

Depending on where he is running in Colorado the elevation at Bandimere Speedway is about 5860'.This is on the western side of the Denver area against the foothills.

okay. so that would equally hinder all cars. which means he still should not be beating them. nondrivermod ftw hahah

Seriously op, I think ur cobalt may have some surprises under the hood. From a roll u should not be taking those cars. From a dig it should be even.

race from a roll and see what happens
