So I'm sitting in Afghanistan waiting to hear the word that my car showed up. Before I left I orderded me a 09 SS/TC, just cant wait to get home a drive that thing. Plus I'll have so much money for mods its rediculous. Just wanted to rant a bit, its pretty boring here.

owned i get to enjoy mine for a full year before i leave......... (year is soon actually so close to a year and a half that i've had my car b4 i leave..... you will not be dissapointed

 

When did you order it?

 

No body has taken delivery of any factory orded cobalts yet... "The next batch of them"

Which looks like Dec - Now...

 

What? Dealers are telling me it takes 6-8 weeks for delivery.

 

Unless you have some special deal going on don't expect it until May or June. Those of us that ordered in Jan. are expecting ours in late April or in May. My dealer still can't pin point a date but is telling me the car will be built in the second or third week in April, and I ordered Jan 25th

 

FYI: had to do some business with my dealership today.. while I was there I spoke with the sales manager. We went on the gm site together, and originally it was April 26th... my Target Build Date...

Now it moved to April 6th....

You should seriously talk to your dealership, seems like they are being dick faces...

 

I ordered mine Jan 21, and I left for the desert on the 23rd. So I may have to email them and figure it out. They told me a couple of months so I'm guessing may-june. Who knows. I hope it shows up around then for sure. I dont get back till sep-oct time frame, not sure when exactly yet. I just know it'll be winter when I get back so I wont be able to play with it as much. Let me know if you guys here anything different about them cars being delivered.

 

Alot of us guys in Ontario, have also been told April 6th.. and we also orderd the same time as you...
