Help: weird sound, sway bar link lose??
Pros,
My bolt makes a noise when I go through an uneven surface...We looked at it and one of the sway bar link at the front driver side is a little lose, it makes a sound when you knocking on it...Here are my questions:
1. Is this the cause of the noise when goes through uneven surface? Did anyone have problem with their sway bar links?
2. I want to replace the parts, any recommendations? I know there are a set with SE5 sport suspension, and a set without, what's the difference?
Appreciate any commands...

Lots of people with the same problem, sounds like the links in our cars are not the greatest. And yes, if it feels loose / clunky when you grab it with your hand, it is likely the source of your noise. Uneven surfaces will load up the links more than even bumps (like a speed bump).
Not sure what the difference in the links is from fe1 / fe3 / fe5. Not sure if you can swap them.
Mavin is the man on this stuff, you can usually find him in the suspension forum....and there is a handy sticky there that may answer your questions.

My links were starting to wear out and rattle terribly. I bought some replacements (OEM style, by Moog, not the performance ones by Bwoody and others) and it was like having a new car again.
whoa whoa whoa, wait a minute, i thought we didn't have aftermarket links???
