Unhappy sounds like crap

i think my struts all around the car is getting bad because when i hit bumbs the car sounds like ****. i still have the stock suspension on and its awful. My friend was in my car and he said " Dude , your car hits them bumbs some hard". He got an 08 with 69,000KMS and he's car sounds awsome on the bumbs. Mine on the other hand sounds awful and i got an 07 with 38000KMS ( 2 of our cars are g5's) . My car hits SUPER HARD and rattles......SO... I was just wondering what you guys thinks of this.....thanks

I've been noticing this too, I have a little under 23k miles on my car and it sounds bad when rolling over bumps and whatnot, maybe the factory cheaped out a bit on the struts and such.

Guys my 09 TC has 2200kms on it and you gotta hear it over speed bumps. It sounds like its 10 years old.

don't travel over the bumps hard and fast and keep off of the horrible roads. Is your car an LS/LT or SS? if the LS/LT Buy the SS/TC stock strut/shock set up. There cheap and can handle the lowering springs a bit better than your stock. what type of lowering springs did you get?

Just curious why you say if SS buy that setup...can't LS/LT use that setup?

yea and balt can use that setup. they are all the same as far as boltin up goes. but the sc has better shocks/struts/springs than the ls/lt and the tc has better shocks/struts/springs than the sc.

typo on my part. if you have the LS/LT the SS shocks/struts would be a better set up for you because it can withhold lowering springs better than the LS/LT shocks/struts. My bad.

That's what I thought, but I wanted to make sure, as I haven't read much about them. I was planning to use TC struts/shocks with my Sportlines later rather than Koni's. Also trying to figure out whether I want to use SC or TC sway bars or just go with something like TTR.

I'm talking about the residential speed HUMPS. My fault should have described that better. My car is an 09 TC. It sounds more like bushing squeaking or chassis flex. I bought H&R springs. Hope to install tomorrow.
