Question What boost controller would be the best for my application?

I'm new to boost controllers but I need to get one. I'm not sure if I should go electronic or manual. The car is a daily driver that sees the racetrack a few times a year. I just need something basic that will allow me to up the boost when I need to and hold the boost steady and dependable. Alot of the features I've seen on some of these things would be almost useless to me. What do you all think?

I paid 18 dollars for mine (it was 15 plus 3.84 cent shipping) and it works great.

I think I'm gonna go with this MBC. What do you all think? Will it get the job done to raise boost for me pretty good?

Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too expensive.

a MBC Should be no more than 40 dollars.. I paid 18 bucks shipped for mine brand new... I borrowed my buddies 65 dollar MBC before i got mine and it works NO DIFFERENT..

You need to go out and buy 4 feet (3 feet works, 4 to be safe) of vacuum hose.. but it cost like 5 bucks.

lol too expensive, cheapos are cheap for a reason

I run the turbo smart MBC. no spikes, no creap, just a solid 22.1 psi all the way up. Can't wait to see if it can deal with the 28+ I'll be throwing at it shortly

Hmm... Thanks for the info.. ill look into it a bit more... i got mine from www.cimotorsports.net

If i went out and got the right tools... I dont want to pay like 600 bucks to install just pistons w/ rings and a head gasket... Ive read that these engines are pretty easy to work on... You can PM me if youd like.. but i do have some questions about building up...

I really dont think you need to spend 80 bucks on a MBC though.. Maybe you dont have to get the cheapy one that i did... but there are some in between.

Autozone is where i got it from.

I hate pep boys.

Any car place should have it.

I did have to ask for it though.
