Okay soo 2 things ones new the other has alwasy happend and maybe its common..so here we go

1.) the other day i took my car to get washed washed it at the do it ur self place backed my car out and let it sit to dry while i smoked a cig..i gert back in the car and now my widows are up radio off doors closed dead quiet in my car..turn the key and it shakes like normal to start but when it shakes i hear a quick knock..turn my car off again, start it, it dse it again..took it to advanced auto had my buddy who works there get in and do it and he said he heard it too i stood out side and u cant hear any knock from my motor and no check engine. Could this just be a bracket for my exhaust cuz thats what he was saying? any input guys?


2.) Has anyone ever started there car in the morning while the car is cold and when u give it a little little rev maybe up to 1500RPM when it comes back down it sounds like it makes a scraping noise like somthing in the engine is rubbing or scratching somthing in itself..anyone ever hear that?

 

does the knock sound like its in the trunk

 

noo it sounds more like its coming around the front of my car..driver side..under my seat around there by my intake around that area sounds like that though can sound like its from one place but be someware else you know?

 

weird you have a trans mount right around that area maybe check that im just graspin at straws here

 

maybe it could be that..never know ill get it looked at
