Put in my CF Trim and the silver just aint doin it for me.

To help you out, they sell them on eBay all the time for like 35. I had to buy a new one after I messed the face up on mine coloring the lights to red (pontiac). The G5 and Cobalt have the same heater control.

 

I have a black one. I'll take a pic. What's your silver one look like? I'd need to trade.

I saw that pic you posted. looks good If your interested in a trade, I'm going to my dealer tomorrow................I can ask them if the black one's and the silver one's are compatable. Mine looks just like your but its black.

they are the same. u can even swap just the face of them

The black and silver are interchangable and as another mentioned, you can even swap just the faces. It takes 10 seconds to swap the face... I have done it plenty of times working on changing my light color.

 

i got some from ebay a while back and swapped the faces. did stereo and climate control for about 50 bucks.

 

can you buy just the face anywhere?

 

Just get on Ebay. I posted this same thread a few weeks ago. I got mine from a guy for $12 shipped. I think it came from a G5 so I just took the face off and swapped.
