Thanks GM techs *rolls eyes*

Well I took the car in mainly to have the bottoms of the doors repainted (paint chipping off the inner portion). They did a good job, on the passenger side. Somehow they didn't do the driver's side at all? WTF? The work order said do both doors, and I showed the estimator the DRIVER's door. WTF!?!

Mistakes happen... I'm sure they'll get you taken care of. My dealer that I go to seems to be ultra paranoid about making sure I'm pleased with their work, etc.

mine too

i can't complain... my car had a pull to the left when I 1st got it, being that it was bought new, I thought maybe the front end had gotten out of align during delivery or something... I really didn't notice anything was wrong until about 3500 miles, it had gotten substantially worse and I noticed the inside of the passenger tire was showing wear

so I took it in... they checked the front end alignment, found a bad ball-joint, replaced it... and then replaced ALL 4 TIRES... now I only expected one to be replaced, MAYBE the front two, when they did all four, well, that was going beyond what I expected... now I had to wait like a week for them to come in(though I was able to drive my car, because the wear wasn't THAT bad to begin with on the tire) but nothing I would complain about... they treated me awesome

I think he meant GM techs as more of a general term for anyone who works on the cars, body shop, service department, etc.

That's what I meant I guess. The body shop I took it to was owned and operated by the dealership I bought my car from.

I wouldn't be bothered if the just didn't do any of the work, it just baffled me that they didn't do both sides when they were just as bad on either side...

Overall I can't complain much about my dealership, the worst hassle they've given me was a "cannot duplicate problem" BS...it only bothers be if it's something that clearly does it EVERYDAY. I had to show them one problem with the passenger door rubbing on the dash...they never fixed it so I ended up fixing it myself after trying to get it dealt with 4 times.

They do try to make sure you're happy though. They have this "completely satisfied" survey that you have to fill out and they say they get paid on it, so they try hard to make sure you're happy with the service.
