Has anyone put the GM rally Stripe on a four door 2009 Cobalt 2LT? Mine is the dark blue with the GM 'unique wing' on the back. I just saw the gray stripe kit in the book at the dealership the other day and got to thinking... This being a four door I wonder if it might look a bit odd or out of place with a rally stripe... Anyone have a picture?

Also, what do you folks think of the chrome GM door handles on the same car?

I herd the chrome door handles peel after a while. but i could be wrong. Stripes may look good.

Kind of looking for ideas and seeing what folks think before I do something that looks real dumb to everyone but me .

I am kind of thinking the stripes might be a better idea over the hood, now I wonder if I can find a picture of a four door with the stripes.

 

don't worry about other people, there are always going to be people that hate your car no matter what you do to it, and this site seems to be quite vocal when they don't like something. if you like it that's all that matters

 

there we go again. "its your car, dont worry about what other people think" i dont hate his car. infact i said that his car would look good with the stripes instead of the cowl hood, considering his car isnt modded

 

Ha, that is ture for sure. Before the Cobalt back in March I had a 2-door Cav, and no one liked it for some reason, and it was barebone stock (aside from a bra).... Don't know why, but you know what, that car was paid off for three years, only reason I got ride of it was the trans was starting to go with 140k miles on it.
