Cobalt SS/SC vs. Legacy GT Stage 1
Cobalt SS/SC vs. Legacy GT Stage 1
Okay, so my friend has a 2006 Subaru Legacy GT 2.5. He just bought an HP Tuner kit that will put him at 240awhp. My car is a stage 2 2006 SS/SC with ZZP 2.8 inch pulley, 60lbs. injectors, AEM cold air intake, and a megan drift spec exhaust; dyno tuned by Fred at SMG Motoring. My figures prior to the cold air and exhaust were 251whp/257lbs-tq. I figure with the intake and exhaust I'm putting down around 260whp/265lbs-tq (est. haven't had it retuned/dyno-d.) I'm curious as to which would win in a highway race, 40-roll in 2nd gear. Any ideas? I guess a stage 1 Legacy Spec-B will run the 1/4 in 14.01@98mph. But...his is an automatic. Any ideas?
Haha yea that didn't do a lot for me...but that's not bad. I know he'd probably take me on a track because of the AWD..and lack there of in my car haha. But we do more highway races around us...cause we're out in the middle of no where and all there is around us is twisty back roads and highways. But thanks for the input.
u will most likely take him unill about 100-110mph... thas when ur supercharger dies... don give me wrong he will give u a good race but I THINK, you will win until about 100-110....
i have an 08 Legacy GT 5mt running at stage 2. i haven't been to the track and my hp/tq was estimated modestly at 285/280. he might be able to gve you a chase but i see you in front the whole time. stage 2 and he will definitely hang with you.
