has anyone used the gm paint chip repair kit? gmparts direct has it for like 7 bucks.. or should i just buy the langka kit?

my friend works at a body shop and got me some for free... i believe it's direct from GM. haven't used it yet, but i should.

 

i jsut went to the body shop were i bought my car and they gave me a bottle of touch up paint

 

i wonder if it works as good as langka though

 

Didn't you get any sent to you from GM when you bought the car? Every new Chevy that I have ever bought, I got a bottle of touchup paint sent to me a few months after buying the car. I still have the bottle of sunburst metallic orange from my Cavalier that I no longer have.

 

I'd like to know how well factory paint works too

 

nope they did not do that for my ss\sc or my sisters LS but i went to the dealer and they gave me one for free ...

 

i got a free touch up paint service when i bought my car.ihavnt brought my car backfor it but when i do ill make it worth while.

 

The GM repair kit is only the touch up paint, the Langka stuff is used with the touch up paint to make it easyier to fix the chips
