Any hot engine parts next to it? I'm pretty sure you already checked that, but I had to ask. I haven't checked my wires, so I couldn't tell you if any of them get hot or not.

mp mp engine parts this is right at the ehadlight...Its the black spade conenction thatsf or the ground.....Their are 2 wire that would go in to the H1 bulb and one was blue and one was black....THe blue(hot) was connected to the center and the black to the outside which should be a ground

Just check all connections, if all connections are good (to bulbs, ground, and power) Then you should be fine (if it was a quality kit) Some use to thin of a wire to handle the juice. I'll be honest, I bought mine off ebay (I have headlights and fogs) and mine have worked for almost 2 years now.
