Just Finished Painting Calipers

Damn this took a long time. I wish I had a good jack and jack stands. Working on one wheel at a time is brutal.

Anyways, it looks great. Now I need to wash the car and ponder what mod I'm going to do next.......

Looks good. Move your side SS logo to the bottom of the door.

That actually never even occurred to me until just now. And now it bothers me like a bug bite.

Now how does that thing come off? I'm going to guess its like the trunk bowtie....

It was placed there from the factory on 2005 balts. And yes, it comes off the same as the rear badges

Looks like I have a new project for tomorrow.

Hopefully it won't take me as long as it took to do the trunk bowtie.

it only took me like 10 mins. to take everything off of my trunk: a little goo gone, floss, hair dryer, and sum hot water, and a rag to get off the sticky stuff...

Just did it today. A hair dryer it it a hell of a lot easier. It looks a ton better now, I can't believe I never noticed it before.

Here's a crappy iphone pic, I'll take a better one tomorrow.

I though it felt faster when I drove it in between taking them off and moving them.

No not at all.

Autozone sells paints by the brand Duplicolor, and even though they do make a caliper painting kit, I just bought their spray Caliper Paint. Other than that all I needed was some fine sandpaper and brake cleaner. All together it only cost me around $20. Of course, I already had the tools I needed to take off everthing.
