serious twin charge answers plz

So my questoin is this. Im seriously thinking about twin chargin my ss sc, but its my DD. Would this be a good idea? I'd love to have the 350 to 375whp range but also be able to rely on it to get be back and forth to work. My current mods are in my sig. What you all think as far as reliability issues with a twin charge?

Thx
Tim

Tim good to see that you are looking for more power out of the car! I am going to recommend to you, to NOT go with the twincharged kit. I will tell you why via pm's, but if you trust me, don't do it =P.

pm me why zach. Cause I personally think it's a great idea. Power all over the powerband, simple bolt on kit. What more can you ask for?

Great setup for a DD as long as you keep the power resonable and treat it nice. ZZP is def a much better way to go then making your own kit due to the complexity. Go for it!

I understand this concept but will it decrease to the point that its no longer a viable option as a DD? I dont autox, go to the strip or run it hard at all( but for the occasional fun pulls while driving home).

It really depends how far you want to push it. I would say at the 300whp mark you wouldn't have issues for a really long time, after 350whp though I wouldn't put money on it. I shot you a pm giving you my thoughts on everything.

Personally I think all motors should be built, forged pistons and sleeved, before adding more power. It doesn't make sense to me to do things backwards lol.
