Thats right just letting the local cobalt owners know that yes after a little over a month and a half the kids back. Car seems to be running real good too. New tranny feels weird or i should say differnt and my launches have fallen off a little but all in all i think everythings fine. Only thing actually it feels like the car has no power stearing i may have to look into that but for now im just gonna enjoy having my car back. If all the longisland cobalts arent afraid to lose there licence or anything like that please by all means challenges are welcome. I have to back up all that **** i've been talking for the past two months! Oh yeah i still have the fastest offical time slip on the island too so you guys are gonna have to take that from me also. later

 

Wow, looks like someone has some brass. You drive an SS/SC right? If not, please correct me. What do you ahve for mods because I'm real curious as to how you have the fastest car in your neck of the woods. If you are though, that must be an awsome feeling.

Yeah so i driving around in my car and i notice the cars overboosting trying to compensate for somethings was hitting 17 -18 psi car was bogging and lerching, and it smelled like bad gas. Plus my launches which were horrible cause what i thought was me not driving stick for a while till i took off my mounts and saw they were all back to stock. So i go back over to the dealer and luckily they didn't give back my after marker mount to Gm yet so i tell the guy the carsa bogging and acting funny and smells like gas. Then it hit me that the car had a lot more gas in it than when i droped it off so i asked if they put gas in it for any reason since they had to test drive it on the new tranny 4 times. Guy asked around and found out yes they did put gas in it and yes folks they put 87 octane in my baby on top of the month and a half old gas in the tank already. Course they figure it was fine since the books says they can but they didn't know i had a smaller pully on the car. So now here i am trying to burn off a tank of 87 octane gas. This **** better fix itself or im putting the car on a strrict diet of 100 octane for a couple days.

nah i just came back home got a little over a 1/4 left to burn than some fresh 93 is going in em. I so happy to have my car back its trying so hard to pull on this bad gas. I almost cried when i saw the effort he was putting in.

Im only retiring from the street. ill run anyone at the track, and technically i am the king of the street, cause nobody has beat me, but since i dont streetrace anymore, by default the title goes to the next fastest car. WheelhoppinSS, all hail the king.lol
